The Power of Grace

Grace is the wind of the north. It is considered negatively charged and is associated with the moon. It is described as being white or iridescent. It is always associated with light or flashes of light. The star and lightning are universal symbols of this power. Lightning can kill or it can illuminate the night. Those who are filled with Grace are transfigured or glow, like a shooting star. A white or silver halo depicts one who is filled with Grace.
We consider Grace to be feminine because, for the most part, women benefit from this energy. Its association with the moon, service, and non-aggression also add to what we, in the modern era, consider feminine qualities. Previous to the Christian era, however, this energy was defined as masculine or as in this work, “The Divine Masculine.” The ancients associated Grace with Father God and the sky, from which it came.
Grace brings coolness and swirls downward and to the left. It is known to bring organization, logic, and understanding to an otherwise scattered or emotional person. Logic and understanding are the basis for forgiveness. It is easy to forgive that which is understood. We can extrapolate the power of Grace in mythological stories or parable by its many names. Sacred texts refer to this energy with key words like, “Anointing Oil,” “Water,” "Rain," “Mercy,” “Peace,” or “Manna.”
