The Holy Spear
This energy is The Holy Spear that kills the flesh or the snake that bites the heel. Once the channel at the base of the spine is opened, Passion races up the central pole and breaks through the chakras. Each breakthrough reveals more fears and horrors that have been committed by the apprentice. These fears and misdeeds must be faced and accepted in order to move on to the next level. Each level brings more power to the system. Thus, more rules are enforced by the master to keep the Apprentice from hurting himself or others. It has been reported that the opening of the base chakra feels as if an earthquake is taking place within your being.
As it flows, Passion tears down or rips through every belief system. All perceptions and attachments that the mind had previously built are destroyed. People, places, and things that were once comfortable and beneficial are now gone, uninteresting, or refuse reentrance. The flow continues until the whole inner sanctum is empty, leaving only Hope within. Since this power’s color is red, the forms seen by the mind’s eye can range from an erect phallus, a serpent, fiery cross, the red rose, a lady in red, burning arrow of love, a burning bush or The Holy Spear of the crucifixion.
The final attainment differs depending on which myth or parable is believed. The Unicorn's Horn assumes that once the upper realm is reached Grace pours over the inner sanctum bathing it in Grace. Another belief system ascertains that the aspirant becomes a protector of the Faith. The third system believes that the aspirant begins a new journey, the search for the Holy Grail.
Attributes of Passion
The common attributes attained by those who are filled with Passion are:
- Great physical strength.
- Ability to overcome any obstacle in their path.
- Prophetic sight.
Those who could achieve set goals proved that they had received the blessing of God’s Passion. This is the principle behind the reason why kings and generals were both revered and rose to a godlike status that required reverence and blind obedience.
